ANNUAL REVIEW

Competitive integrated employment is work performed on a full or part time basis, paid at minimum wage or better and comparable to other employees without disabilities, occurs at a location where there is interaction with other people without disabilities, and opportunities are presented for advancement similar to other employees without disabilities in similar positions.
We offer an array of service options at JCDS to meet the individual needs of the people we serve. Many have long been advocating for real jobs with real pay and careers that offer benefits and advancement. Referrals for competitive employment have steadily increased for years, and there is a growing demand for this service for young adults exiting high school transition programs.
